The Bohemian Farmstead was born from a calling to slow down, live intentionally, and raise our family closer to God, the land, and the values that truly matter. What began as a dream of simple homestead living has grown into a faith-centered family farm rooted in hard work, stewardship, wellness, and community.
Amanda is a Blairstown, New Jersey native who grew up surrounded by the beauty and family traditions of Triplebrook Campground, while Drew is a proud Nebraska Cornhusker whose Czech family roots trace back to the early 1800s. Together, we’ve blended our backgrounds, traditions, and love for the outdoors into a life centered around faith, family, and self-reliance.
Amanda is a U.S. Army Veteran, Birth Doula, wellness educator, and founder of Pura Vida Eastern Wellness, combining her passion for natural living, motherhood, mindfulness, and Eastern wellness practices into everyday farm life. Drew began his career with the National Park Service after studying Biology at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and shares a deep love for conservation, animals, and teaching our boys the value of honest work.
Together with our three young sons — Harker, Colter, and Tanner — we are building more than a farm. We are building a legacy.
At The Bohemian Farmstead, we believe that God calls us to be good stewards of the earth, our animals, our families, and our gifts. Every loaf of bread, every goat milk soap, every flower bouquet, and every jar of honey is created with intention, gratitude, and care.
Our homestead is centered around:
Faith, family, and traditional values
Homeschooling and hands-on learning
Sustainable living and self-reliance
Raising children connected to nature and meaningful work
Creating a peaceful refuge away from the chaos of modern life
We want our children to grow up understanding where food comes from, how to care for animals, how to serve others, and how to work hard with humility and purpose.
Over the coming years, The Bohemian Farmstead will continue evolving into a unique homestead destination blending agriculture, wellness, education, and agritourism.
Our vision includes:
A charming self-serve farmstand stocked with:
Fresh eggs
Goat milk soaps & skincare
Goat milk fudge & baked goods
Raw honey
Seasonal flowers & herb bundles
Homemade breads, pretzels, and treats
Farm-fresh produce
Wellness products & herbal teas
Handmade gifts and homestead goods
Guests will be able to stop by, enjoy the peaceful scenery, and experience a slower, more intentional way of living.
Our Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats are truly the heart of the farm. Their rich creamy milk is used to create:
Goat milk soaps
Lotion bars
Tallow skincare
Bath soaks
Seasonal wellness products
Artisan fudge and baked goods
We hope to eventually expand into a dedicated soapmaking and creamery workshop space where visitors can watch products being made and attend hands-on classes.
We envision The Bohemian Farmstead becoming a destination where families can reconnect with nature, faith, and one another through meaningful experiences such as:
Goat Yoga by the poolside
Family Farm Days
Homesteading workshops
Soapmaking classes
Farm tours & animal encounters
Flower picking experiences
Seasonal festivals & holiday markets
Airbnb farm stays under the Arizona stars
Wellness retreats blending yoga, mindfulness, and farm life
Whether guests come for a peaceful weekend getaway or simply to buy fresh bread and soap from the stand, we want them to leave feeling nourished, inspired, and connected.
As our family transitions toward building our future in Hereford, Arizona, we are excited to blend our northeastern roots with the beauty and spirit of the Southwest. The Arizona homestead vision includes:
Expanded dairy goat operations
Desert gardens & orchards
Bees & honey production
Highland cattle & additional livestock
Cut flower gardens
Outdoor wellness spaces
Sunset yoga gatherings
Farm-to-table experiences
Airbnb casitas and retreat spaces
Even as we grow into Arizona, we will always continue supporting many of our beloved New Jersey customers and farmstead families who have supported us from the beginning.
At The Bohemian Farmstead, our vision is not simply to own a farm — it is to create a way of life.
A life where children grow up barefoot in the grass.
Where neighbors know one another.
Where handmade goods matter.
Where food is nourishing.
Where faith comes first.
Where hard work is honorable.
And where families can reconnect to the beauty of God’s creation.
This is our home, our ministry, our family legacy, and our dream for generations to come. 🤎🐐🌻
